Proven experience in supporting PCF (Public Cloud Foundry earlier called "Tanzu") , containerization & Vmware 2. Hands on experience in installation, configuration, troubleshooting , ability to find root cause of issues in PCF Other Qualifications: Bitbucket, Tanzu TAS, VMware Tanzu Job Summary: Platform engineer with minimum 7 years of experience in administering, developing, debugging and support of Linux, Windows machines on-premise (PCF) Experience in deploying and configuring Public Cloud Foundry (Paas) in AWS and vSphere (Iaas) Experience in working on continuous integration and deployment using Concourse, Jenkins and configuring chef to support configuration management. Automating deployments, upgrades and backups of the Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) platform using concourse pipelines, and integrated Concourse with Credhub vault. Ensuring successful architecture and deployment of enterprise-grade PaaS solutions using Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) as well as proper operation during initial Application migration. Providing support for Dev teams to troubleshoot failed applications and services in PCF environments. Using Cloud Foundry to build, run and deploy various codes using tools like CF CLI, BOSH and to create an agile platform for cloud native applications and software. Experience in creating and maintaining virtual machines, including build pack upgrades on Pivotal Cloud Foundry, using BOSH CLI, CF CLI, and expert level Unix skills. Building platform using Terraform and Concourse by automation pipelines to automate the installation of PCF components or services on to AWS and vSphere. Install and maintain clusters in the pivotal Kubernetes service Install firehose to forward data and to monitor the platform and application performance using tools Splunk and New Relic Assist with system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessment Work on applying patches and recommending necessary security fixes for web Application Install and configure Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, plug-ins, configure security, create a master and slaves for implementation of multiple parallels builds using build automation tools like vRA and Chef Roles & Responsibilities: Client has its own team in US and India.
