Brief Job Description: Responsibilities: Monitor network links for LAN/WAN Monitor performance/tuning, ensure capacity planning is performed, and proactively assess and make recommendations for improvement Understand networking protocols and technologies, including routing, switching, and load balancing. Install, configure, and maintain routers and switches Develop and maintain documentation regarding network configurations, operating procedures, and service records relating to network hardware and software Assist in knowledge transfer and training staff in implementations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of LAN/WAN Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position Safety: Assume responsibility for the workplace safety of self and co-workers, and for the safety conditions of the work locations, exercise and promote safe behaviors and show unyielding support of programs, rules and policies regarding safety Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (or related field), or equivalent experience 10+ years experience in: Troubleshooting data center networks Expertise in Cisco APIC and ACI products and technologies Understanding of network protocols, including routing and switching Administering IP networks in a near zero downtime environment DNS/DHCP technologies Troubleshooting network issues & building VPN o Using SNMP based monitoring software Administering Firewall Platforms (F5 ASM, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: (not required, but an extra plus if you have the experience) Desired Certifications: CCNA, CCNP Prior NOC Experience SD-WAN Experience Cloud Design and Implementation experience 802.11x Experience Thanks & Regards ..
