Job Title: Oracle DBA ( with extensive troubleshooting experience and expert understanding of RAC solutions) Location: Omaha, NE (100% Onsite role) Job Type: Contract Description: we would like an experienced oracle dba with deep experience with oracle rac. This person should be in Omaha or willing to relocate to omaha, NE (100% Onsite role) Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate with architects. Developers and other technical teams. 2. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve complex performance and availability issues related to Oracle RAC environments. Utilize in-depth knowledge of Oracle database internals, cluster ware, and networking to troubleshoot and resolve problems effectively. 3. Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize Oracle RAC database performance by identifying bottlenecks, tuning SQL queries, optimizing database configurations, and implementing best practices. 4. High Availability: Configure and maintain Oracle RAC databases to ensure high availability is preserved. Only needed if we have to add capacity during some failure mode. 5. Experience with UP environment is a plus.
