Under minimal supervision, responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining the enterprise wide Windows, VDI Horizon\\XenDesktop, VMware, Storage NetApp & Cohesity and Citrix server environments.  Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems.  Maintains data files and monitors system configurations to ensure data integrity.  Senior level requires very little, if any, day-to-day supervision.  Is considered an expert in the technical aspects of networks and servers and makes solid, and well thought out, technical recommendations to a designated manager and the Director of Infrastructure Operations.   Provides guidance and direction to less-experienced Systems Engineers. Technical Skills: Virtualization: VMware VSphere 4.1/5.1/5.5/6.0, VMware ESXi, vCenter, vSphere Client, vRA/vCAC, vRO/vCO, vROps/vCOps, Host Profiles, vSphere Update Manager, vMotion, Log Insight, DRS, HA, Storage DRS, vSwitch/dvSwitch networking, NSX Manager, Vcloud Director. Server OS: ESXi 4.1/5.1/5.5/6.0, Windows 2016/2012R2/2008R2, Redhat 4/5/6, Ubuntu, Centos Backup & Recovery: Veeam, Avamar, Symantec BackupExec, SQL Microsoft Services: ADDS, ADCS,ADFS,DFS,DNS, DHCP IIS 7.0, MOSS/SharePoint, Exchange, Office 365, Hyper-V Server Consolidation/DR: VMWare SRM, EMC Replication Manager.
