Duration: 6 Months JOB DESCRIPTION: *Automotive industry experience is required* Summary: We are looking for a strong Android Mobile Developer to join our Application Engineering team to develop and enhance our applications on Android platforms. You will be responsible for feature development and maintaining existing applications including work on improving the architecture, the UI/UX, and general application code working against an existing backend system. Essential Functions: Responsibilities include developing and enhancing Android applications Focus on feature development and maintenance of existing applications Work on improving architecture, UI/UX, and general application code Collaboration with an existing backend system Write code and design systems using cross platform IDEs such as Android Studio, Visual Studio, XCode and Flutter/Dart external packages. Building Android Modules, SDKs, Framework is plus. Familiarity using version controls tools like GitLab, GitHub and others. Minimum qualification : 6+ years knowledge in mobile app development with experience in Native Android Mobile Development Mandatory Native Android development, knowing cross-platform frameworks including but not limited to Flutter, React Native multiplatform is a plus. In-depth understanding of Object-Oriented programming languages like Kotlin, Java, Dart Objective C, Swift UI, Jetpack Compose Familiarity using version control tools like Git, Subversion etc. Solid understanding of mobile app design patterns like - MVC, MVP, Delegation, Singleton, Factory, MVVM pattern, Clean Architecture etc. Strong experience collaborating with designers and UX experts to create great user experiences. Strong experience building and maintaining Android libraries via Gradle/Maven/ Working Knowledge of Unit and Android Tests. Preferred familiarity with Bluetooth, BT Profiles, Digital Key, Core Bluetooth, External accessory Experienced with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and connectivity with external devices using BLE Preferred qualifications: Understanding of CI/CD Master knowledge of UX best practices, interactive design principles, guidelines, including current mobile accessibility standards Able to work on Agile and Test-driven development.
