Position: Data Engineer Location: Atlanta Georgia Duration: 6+ Months Mode of Interview: Phone and Video Job Description: Notes from Hiring Manager: They have a resource in the seat now at a Data Engineer, and this person is going to be working along side. This person is on Prem, but they need someone more cloud focused. Pulling data from cloud sources with API. Pulling data from cloud sources (Twitter, Tik tok, etc) Coming up with pipelines to pull data from 3rd party APIs.. They are rethinking how they do integrations in this company. They were typically done by developers, so looking at redoing integrations. mainly connecting to APIs to MuleSoft, not building APIS. Will be doing mostly project work. They have a financial planning software system (Hyperion type system called OneStream). They are going to be integrating OneStream with JDE and the data warehouse using MuleSoft for the integration. They will be managing the data warehouse, focusing on the MuleSoft integrations. Data Engineers can have the following New Update from 1/16 to make the search easier: MuleSoft IPAAS experience and Azure Data Warehousing MuleSoft IPAAS with no azure data warehousing NON-MuleSoft IPAAS Experience, coupled with Strong Azure Data Warehouse Experience. Must we willing to learn mulesolft No iPAQ experience at all, but EXCELLENT azure data warehouse experience, data factory, databricks, etc. and willing to learn and work heavily in mulesoft Other Requirements: Integration Platform as a Service experience (iPaaS) is a BIG plus using: MuleSoft (Preferred), Informatica, Boomi, Jitterbit, Tibco, or Apigee Proficiency in SQL Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as SSIS and Azure Data Factory is a plus Knowledge of on premise and cloud database management systems (Cloud with Azure is a plus) Azure Data Lakes is a plus Strong understanding of data modeling principles and best practices Familiarity with Big Data concepts such as Multi Parallel Processing and Modern Cloud Data Warehouse Architecture is a plus Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Keywords: |
