Please forward your updated resume to [email protected] JOB DESCRIPTION:- Title: SAP QA Manager Location: Remote Visa: Independent candidates/C2C/USC, GC, H4 EAD Test Planning and Coordination Team TP&C team provides end-to-end service for functional testing (manual). Main tasks covered by the test-leads: Develop Testing Strategy* and Test Plan, as well as work with project management to determine teams involved. Assist teams involved (Testing Network) to maximize testing coverage. Aid in the selection of testing environment (qTest or ADO), prepare environment, load test cases and assist users in using the environment. Check additional requirements for testing such as: performance tests, automation of test cases, need to have a Warranty Period. Work with defect management. Generate metrics and close out report. TP&C team provides end-to-end service for functional testing (manual). Test Lead will cover the following tasks: Develop Testing Strategy* and Test Plan; Work with project management to determine Testing Network (teams involved); Work with Testing Network to assist them in selecting the appropriate test cases to maximize testing coverage; Check additional requirements for testing such as: is there a need to execute Performance tests; is there a need to automate some of the tests to be executed**; Prepare testing tool environment (qTest or ADO); Provide testing tool training for testers and resolvers; Ensure testing entry criteria before Test Events (i.e.: UIT, UAT); Create dashboard for measuring testing progress; Work with defect management; Ensure testing exit criteria has been reached; Generate testing close out report; Support Warranty Period process (if applicable to the project). Role and Responsibility (Could be used for JD) 1. Developing Testing Strategy and Test Plan Test Lead will align with the project manager & the team and document the Testing Strategy and Test Plan. Afterwards TL will share the document for approval and update it if needed. 2. Working with project management to determine Testing Network Work with project manager to get the right Point of Contact (POC) to be involved in the testing process.** Be in touch with POC to get the testers names assigned to each testing phase. 3. Working with Testing Network to select/create appropriate test cases to maximize testing coverage Communicate to Business Focal Points and Business Testers the test requirements, test dates, system outages and go-live validation plan. Provide existent test cases to the testers (if applicable). Provide a test case template for new test cases creation. Facilitate meetings to testers & technical team members (if required). Monitor the test cases design (follow up by email or regular review meetings, depending on the % effort required). 4. Checking additional requirements for testing such as Performance and Automation Check with project manager & the team if Performance and Automation are required on the project. Align with Automation/Performance teams on the projects needs. 5. Preparing testing tool environment Request project setup in qTest / ADO. Setup test plan, test cases, test runs, dates, grant access to testers and fixers. 6. Providing testing tool training for testers and fixers If needed, develop a deck and provide a test management tool training (qTest / ADO) to the testing network. 7. Creating dashboard for measuring testing progress Create a dashboard in the test management tool to provide metrics or similar. Send out testing status report on a regular basis (align with PM on the frequency of this report). 8. Working with defect management Work with the team to stablish a defect lifecycle. Facilitate the tracking of defects and regular review meetings. 9. Ensuring testing exit criteria has been reached Facilitate regular checkpoint meetings to review testing progresses on schedule. Verify all the exit criteria completed by timeline. Collect the business sign-off. 10. Generating testing close out report Generate and share a testing close out report with metrics per each testing phase. 11. Supporting Warranty Period process Work with the PM to align a warranty period process (Service NOW, SharePoint, Dashboards). Facilitate regular checkpoint meetings.
