| Role: UX Designer Location: Portland, OR (Day One Onsite) Experience: 10+ Years Mandatory Requirements: UI design applying UX design patters. Responsive / mobile design Visual design User research Current web UI technologies (JS / Angular JS, ASP/.NET, TypeScript, etc.) Responsibilities: Working with end-users, conduct user experience research. Facilitate usability studies and use data from such study to make informed design decisions. Understand usability principles, responsive design principles, UI patterns, layout, typography, and color proficient with research methodologies. Develop sketches, wireframes, visual designs, journey maps and propose improvements with estimated development time. Create usability test artifacts. Create interactive prototypes using current web technologies (ASP/.NET, JS / Angular JS). Apply UX design patterns to re-design existing UI. Present proposed changes with mock-ups / proofs of concept to Executives, Stakeholders, end-user groups and UI developers. Ability to demonstrate the above with your experience. Desirable Requirements: Bachelors degree in Comp Science, Software Engineering, or related field; preferably with an emphasis on UX design Experience in a high-tech / MFG environment with relevant enterprise systems (e.g., MES). Experience leading design projects. Experience providing guidance to development teams to help them execute to UX designs.
