This person will be joining a team of about 6 developers & will be the go to performance test engineer. Responsibilities will encompass the full testing lifecycle from performance testing strategies, to test case design all the way through the execution phase all on the back end. JMeter is the main tool that will be used to carry out these processes, therefore this person must be proficient with JMeter and have at least 3 years of professional experience using JMeter. A strong understanding of DevOps practices and containerization technologies, the team specifically uses Kubernetes, is important because this person will be working across about 10 microservices for all the IP video domains. Since this person will be the only test engineer on this team, there will be heavy collaboration with the development team to provide performance recommendations and help implement improvements in the codebase. This team has a range of junior to senior developers and pride themselves on the diversity of their team. They value collaboration and the opportunity to learn from each other at all experience levels. This team works in a fast-paced environment. They operate off an agile methodology with weekly stand ups and two-week sprints. This is a 6-month contract with rolling extensions and strong potential for extensions and conversions. The team operates on a hybrid schedule and goes into the office in Greenwood Village, CO on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
