The AWS Architect position will play a leading role on the TechOps Data Science/Maintenance Productivity team, responsible for leading the design and implementation of complex and large-scale cloud solutions on AWS. You will also be responsible for creating cloud architecture, optimizing performance, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and integrating various AWS services to meet business requirements. You will collaborate with stakeholders, provide technical guidance, and stay updated on AWS best practices to ensure robust and efficient cloud infrastructure. Strong expertise in AWS services, architecture design, and proficiency in cloud security are key qualifications for this role. You will collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Data Analysts, and Software Development Engineers on a cross-functional teams. Senior AWS Solutions architect responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of complex cloud solutions on AWS. Provide strategic guidance on cloud architecture and align it with business objectives. Ensure compliance with industry standards, security, and best practices. Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. Conduct architectural reviews and provide recommendations for improvements. Evaluate emerging AWS technologies and recommend their adoption as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in the cloud environment. Stay abreast of AWS updates, trends, and best practices. Senior AWS Solutions architect job qualification Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent 7 to 10 years of architecture experience, at least 4 in AWS. Proven track record in designing and implementing complex cloud solutions. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience across a broad spectrum of AWS services. A history of effectively addressing and resolving challenging technical issues with cloud environments. Familiar with industry best practices, compliance requirements, and security standards related to cloud architecture. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and the management team. AWS Associate or Professional certification preferred.
