| Hi, Position Title: Oracle & MS SQL Cross Trained Job location (City, State) US Fort Mill-SC, USA, Remote Duration for this position: 6 months Immigration status restrictions: USC || GC Job description: IMS Transition o Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle Database software across various environments. o Optimize database performance through tuning, indexing, and monitoring. o Design and implement robust backup and recovery strategies for Oracle databases. o Implement and manage security measures, including user access controls, encryption, and auditing. o Apply patches and updates to ensure Oracle databases are up to date and secure. o Configure and manage high availability solutions, such as Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC). o Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL and PL/SQL queries for efficient database operations. o Plan and execute upgrades to newer Oracle Database versions and migrate databases between servers. o Configure and manage Oracle Data Guard for disaster recovery and data Implement and manage Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication. o Perform efficient database cloning and refreshing for testing and development purposes. o Monitor and plan for database capacity to accommodate future growth. o Diagnose and resolve complex database-related issues and incidents. o Utilize Oracle Enterprise Manager for comprehensive database management. o Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate database-related updates. o Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for databases and processes. o Provide training to junior DBAs and mentorship to team members. o Extensive experience in administering Oracle Database environments. o Proven skills in optimizing database performance. o Expertise in designing and implementing backup and recovery strategies. o Strong understanding of database security principles and implementation. o Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL and PL/SQL queries. o Experience with Oracle RAC and other high availability configurations. o Track record of successfully planning and executing database upgrades and migrations. o Advanced troubleshooting skills for database-related issues. o Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager for centralized database management. o Ability to monitor and plan for database capacity.
