[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Details: QA Accessibility Tester or Accessibility Analyst Location: Albany, NY -Day 1 onsite Duration: 12 months with possible 24 months extension The Client requires assistance with System Modernization projects that involves Web Accessibility expertise and auditing. Day to day tasks to be performed by the Accessibility Tester: Will perform extensive accessibility analysis and create documentation for new or existing transactions that will involve: -Working independently or with other accessibility testers to assess web pages and documents (i.e., PDF) for conformance to established web accessibility standards (focusing on WCAG 2.0 AA). -Developing detailed reports explaining accessibility defects identified through an audit and suggest remediation methods/techniques. -Reviewing results of assessment with developers, project team members, and management. Answering questions regarding testing methods and interpretation of the results. -Creating comprehensive accessibility documentation for use by developers. -Guidance and participation in developing an accessibility audit methodology. -Providing expert accessibility feedback to transactions and form designs. Required Qualifications: 1. 72 months experience performing Web Accessibility Audits using assistive. This must include at least 3 of these technologies: JAWS, VoiceOver, NVDA, ZoomText, Dragon Naturally Speaking 2. 72 months experience performing Web Accessibility Audits using automated technologies. This must include at least 3 of these technologies: WAVE from WebAIM, Access Assistant from Level Access, aXe from Deque, Web Accessibility Toolbar (WAT), Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Accessibility Checker 3. 72 months experience in UI Accessibility testing 4. 72 months experience in developing technical documentation, including VPATs, and/or using accessibility auditor platforms such as Accessibility Management Platform (AMP) from Level Access. 5. 60 months experience performing Accessibility Audits against Digital Documents (e.g., PDF, Word, etc) 6. 72 months experience using and following Section 508 and Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) guidelines and specificationsW3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0 A and AA), Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA), User Agent Accessibility Guidelines (UAAG), and Authoring Tool Accessibility Guidelines (ATAG) Thanks, Anoop Sspearhead Inc. www.Sspearhead.com Keywords: quality analyst user interface New York |
