Coordinating with Network vendors. Required Skills: 8+ Years of enterprise security experience. 8+ years of Checkpoint, Fortinet Firewalls, F5, etc. Working experience with different Cisco platforms: ASRs, Nexus, Catalyst Knowledge of routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP Troubleshooting Layer 2 issues. Full understanding of STP Troubleshooting dot1x/EAP. Handle NAC related issues Strong Understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, troubleshooting various application issues using Wireshark, tcpdump etc Knowledge of McAfee Web Gateways. Infoblox DNS Management Title : Network and Security Engineer Location : New York (On site From day 1) Duration : 12+ Months W2 Job Requirements: At least 8 Years of experience in Networking and Security Infrastructure. Must have hands-on experience on McAfee Web Gateway, URL filtering, App filtering and Categorization. Must have working experience on Firewalls, Load Balancers and Reverse Proxies. Working Knowledge on Cisco Nexus, catalyst switches, VPC, Routing/Switching concepts - BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VRRP, STP, VTP, LACP and HSRP Strong knowledge of Network principles, PKI, TCP/IP, DNS, SSL VPN, HTTP/HTTPS. Engineer able to review/correct Network and Security vulnerabilities found in monthly scans. Good Knowledge of DNS using Infoblox IPAM. Be able to resolve high priority tickets and handle incidents in a timely manner. Strong verbal communication and analytical/troubleshooting skills. Ideal candidates will have a CCNA/CCNP Certification, and any network/security related certifications is a plus.
