The resources must also have relevant solution development experience to include development and support of Web Services. The same candidate must be able to architect, design, and develop solutions (front end, back end, as well as batch.) The ideal candidate will have experience working with STARS related products (i.e. PSRM, PeopleSoft, DataStage, WebSphere ESB) Uniquely qualified candidates will have actually participated in the Ohio STARS project. Potentially, provide Production Support for various eCommerce applications as needed. Potentially, various projects involving infrastructure upgrades (aka technical debt.) The particular scope of work for this consultant would involve changes to applications in response to the app requirements as they are flushed out in the tech debt discovery process. Migration of other eCommerce applications to upgrade platform (e.g. WAS 9, RAD 9, JAVA 1.8). Also, potentially, enhance eCommerce applications as needed, and/or migrate the backend to a platform other than Mainframe DB2. Work in this arena is related to projects known as WAS Upgrade, Mainframe Replacement, and other technical debt projects as they are initiated. Skill Required / Desired Amount Number of Years Experience with IDE: RAD 7.5 and above or Eclipse Required 10 Java: JEE 5 and above, Java EE Batch Architecture, Spring Framework, Java EE Design Patterns Required 10 Spring Framework: MVC model and Batch architecture Required 10 Experience with Messaging: Asynchronous Messaging, JMS/MQ Required 10 Experience with Web Framework: JSF 2.0 Framework Required 10 Experience with Persistence: JPA/Java Persistence API 2.0, EJB 3.0 Required 10 Web Services: JAX-WS Web Services, XML, JAXB Required 10 XPath, UML, Object Modeling, Batch Scheduler, Performance tuning of Web Services/SQL and Application code.
