No OPT/CPT, H4EAD, L2EAD Position - BMC Firmware Developer Location San Jose, CA// Onsite Exp. + yrs Contract Roles & Responsibilities Design, Develop and modify firmware for server hardware platforms that meet or exceed the requirements of the technical spec including, but not limited to: Performance, User Interface, System run time operation, firmware updates, error handling, error recovery and Quality/Reliability. 5+ years' experience in BMC Firmware development for 2 socket x86 servers Experience with AMI MegaRac BMC firmware base, development tools and workflows is a must In depth knowledge of IPMI 2.0 and DCMI 1.5 Specifications is required Detailed working ability with IPMI Tool and other user interfaces to the BMC In Depth working expertise with the RedFish speciation and RESTFul interfaces The ability to analyze firmware and hardware issues and work closely with other team members to debug and seek complex system level issues Familiarity with Open BMC and other trending hyperscale trends A high level of skill in problem recreation and trapping as well as identifying and optimizing the performance of critical algorithms Experience working directly with AMI to make code changes Direct experience working with Taiwanese and Chinese ODMs on server development programs.
