Utilize programming languages like Spark (Python or Scala) and SQL to create efficient data processing solutions. Database Expertise:Work with various databases including SQL Server, Teradata, Snowflake, and Synapse. Apply a deep understanding of data engineering principles, data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes. Integration and Transformation:Implement hands-on experience with data integration and transformation frameworks, tools, and methodologies. Develop and maintain data pipelines, integrations, and transformations to support efficient data processing, storage, and retrieval. Optimization and Performance:Optimize data infrastructure and solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency within Azure. Ensure high availability and reliability of data solutions. Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions. Communicate effectively to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Data Quality Assurance:Conduct data profiling, validation, and cleansing activities to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Implement data testing, validation, and reconciliation processes. Mentorship and Technical Guidance:Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior data engineers, interns, and freshers. Foster knowledge sharing and skills development within the team. Good to Have:Experience with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of streaming technologies, pipelines, and frameworks like Kafka, EventHub, and Azure Stream Analytics. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Azure, Snowflake, and Azure Data Factory. Strong proficiency in Spark, SQL, and data engineering concepts. Relevant certifications in Azure or Snowflake are advantageous.
