Contract Length: 6+ month contract with possible extensions Local/Non-Local: Candidates do not need to be local to area, can be 100% remote Requirements Expertise in file transfer protocols, E2E development/testing of MFT flows, and industry standards for secure file transmission, network requirements, and API enablement. 5+ years of Tibco MFT experience in Unix and Windows enterprise environments. Knowledge and experience in the following protocols: AS2, SSH, and SSL. Ability to manage complex and changing workloads. Experience developing standards and processes for MFT. Ability to work with change and incident management procedures. Proficiency in root cause analysis, bug identification and remediation. Preferred Unix or Windows administration experience. Experience working with mainframe file transmissions. Experience working in financial industries. Familiarity with file transmission in the AWS Cloud. Technical knowledge of Linux, Windows, Mainframe, and Cloud operating systems. Responsibilities Serve as a subject matter expert in Managed File Transfer (MFT) technology, terminology, and the Tibco MFT product suite. Provide MFT solutions to internal and external customers that meet or exceed requirements and industry standards/best practices. Support the tuning of MFT systems and application code. Determine and advocate best practices surrounding enterprise file transfer. Work with peers to develop and improve controls, streamline procedures through automation, update documentation, and implement new functionality. Perform root cause analysis on escalated incidents and work with vendor to identify and resolve application defects. Gather requirements from internal and external customers.
