Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties:

Qualys Policy Management:

Develop, implement, and manage Qualys policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal security requirements.

Tune policies and controls to reflect changes to the governance of the corporation.

Collaborate with security and compliance teams to align Qualys policies with regulatory requirements.

Set up & manage scan schedules and reporting for various business units.

Generate reports/dashboards.

Control ID (CID) Configuration:

Configure and maintain Control IDs (CIDs) in Qualys to accurately represent the organization's security standards.

Ensure that CIDs are aligned with industry best practices and are consistently updated based on security policy changes.

Qualys Tool Maintenance:

Perform regular maintenance tasks on the Qualys platform, including software updates, patches, and configuration adjustments.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure the continuous and reliable operation of the Qualys tool.

Collaboration and Documentation:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and compliance, to understand organizational requirements and translate them into Qualys configurations.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of Qualys policies, configurations, and procedures for reference and audit purposes.

Work with out OneTrust SME to create a feed of Qualys scan data into the OneTrust tool.

Training and Knowledge Sharing:

Provide training to internal teams on the use and best practices of the Qualys platform.

Share expertise with team members and contribute to the development of a knowledge-sharing culture within the organization.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Qualys Administrator with a specific focus on policy compliance.

In-depth knowledge of configuring and managing Control IDs (CIDs) within the Qualys platform.

Strong understanding of vulnerability management concepts and practices.

Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Relevant certifications such as Qualys Certified Specialist (QCS) would be a plus.

Contract Duration:

 The initial contract duration is 12 months, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements and performance.
