Position: Video Collaboration Engineer Location: Holtsville, NY Duration: 12+Months Note: Please do not submit OPT, CPT & H4 Role Description: We are seeking a skilled and innovative Video Collaboration Engineer. As a Video Collaboration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing video collaboration solutions to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration across our organization. Your expertise will ensure that our video conferencing and collaboration platforms are reliable, efficient, and user-friendly, enabling our teams to collaborate effectively both internally and externally. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365) a plus. Proven experience (5 years) as a Video Collaboration Engineer or in a similar role, designing, implementing, and managing video conferencing solutions. Experience in working with the following cloud-based video collaboration platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) In-depth knowledge of video collaboration platforms, codecs, protocols, and related technologies. Familiarity with video conferencing hardware, including cameras, microphones, and display systems. Working knowledge of A/V concepts around audio and video signal types, routing, and cabling Experience with AV Control systems- Experience with video collaboration services and technologies from vendors such as: Polycom, MS Teams, Crestron, Neat Experience in working with cloud-based video collaboration platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols relevant to video collaboration (e.g., SIP, H.323, WebRTC). Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting video collaboration systems, including software applications and hardware endpoints. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide user support. Knowledge of security best practices and compliance considerations for video collaboration systems. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving technology landscape. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions and services. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
