Job Title: Audio Visual Design Engineer Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid) Duration: 6+ Months Visa Type: No H1/CPT Job Description:- Audio Visual Design Engineer role will be responsible for overall system design for audio visual and video teleconferencing based systems. Duties and Responsibilities: Support our internal design engineers on a project by project basis Design and oversee audio visual system throughout the project lifecycle. Responsible for creating and maintaining wiring diagrams, schematics, and elevations. Collaborate with external vendors to ensure the correct hardware is sourced and maintained. Identify trends in support operations to proactively prevent problems and develop processes to resolve. Take corrective actions to solve problems in a timely manner with minimum impact to the user. Support and troubleshoot client devices Able to thrive in an dynamic environment and be adaptable to change in work and priorities Key Qualifications: 5+ Years in enterprise/corporate/commercial audio visual system design Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent teamwork skills. Familiarity with macOS, Linux, Pages, Numbers, Excel, etc.. Proficient in AutoCAD drafting and modeling is strongly preferred Strong Experience with major industry manufacturers including Extron, Crestron, Cisco, etc. Ability to independently troubleshoot and root cause AV systems issues. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks/projects Strong aptitude for logical and strategic thinking. High attention to detail Knowledge and experience in IT network communications. Great interpersonal skills. Able to interface with colleagues and customers Must be highly energetic, well organized and responsible.
