Must be a strong PM along with having hands on tech skills with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Wordpress. Website & Communications Project Manager for a 6+ month contract opportunity with a client located in Center City Philadelphia PA area. Local candidates are preferred, this job is mostly remote but need to be able to come in as needed. The Website and Communication Project Manager will manage the website development and ongoing maintenance. The Manager will also support the marketing and communication efforts. Website & Communications Project Manager - job responsibilities include: Website Management: Manage discovery phase of website development in collaboration with partners; assess analytics and decide on suitable strategies and objectives, synthesizing large quantities of information. Manage and maintain the website, overseeing content, design, and updates. Create website project management plans. Align the website in compliance with our brand, strategy, and standards. Audit any existing partner websites and ensure connection to the our website. Work with the Content Manager to create new and refresh existing content and improve functionality. Create sitemaps and wireframes. Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects. Perform regular audits of content and remove duplicate information. Work with the communications office to create strategies that improve website traffic and user experience. Serve as the web liaison. Track website analytics monthly and provide strategic recommendations to the Communication and Program team. Communications Management: Support partners with the promotion and marketing via social and traditional media, data collection, report distribution. Support and manage communication materials production, presentation development. Manage content creation for websites, social media channels, email newsletters, media resources and collateral. Develop Social Media toolkits so content can be developed by partners. Support news announcements, media interviews, video shoots, photography. Support social media monitoring and promotion of partner organization platforms. Required experience includes: Proven experience as a program manager or project manager with a thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods. Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, Java Script and WordPress. Excellent knowledge of MS Office working knowledge of program/project management software (Basecamp, MS Project, etc.). Outstanding leadership, organizational and problem-solving abilities. Working understanding of web servers and synchronization of multiple sites.
