Title : Power BI Developer Company: Banking Corporation/Corporate Systems Business Intelligence & Regulatory Reporting Location: Jersey City, NJ, United States Onsite Flexibility: 80% Remote Visa GC or USC Remarks : Must be on site 1x week in Jersey City BANKING OR FINANCE EXPERIENCE Description: We are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and deliver actionable insights to drive informed decision-making. This role has flexible hybrid working options. Core Responsibilities Design and develop end-to-end business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, data integration, and report/dashboard creation. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and design efficient and visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards. Develop complex Power BI data models to enable accurate and efficient data analysis and visualization. Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and anomalies, and work with stakeholders to address them. Create and maintain data connections and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Power BI. Optimize performance and usability of Power BI reports and dashboards by tuning queries, implementing efficient data models, and applying best practices. Ensure data security and compliance standards are met by implementing appropriate security measures and access controls within Power BI. Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate Power BI with other systems and data sources, including on-premises and cloud-based platforms. Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Power BI and related technologies, and proactively apply them to enhance the overall BI solution. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior Power BI developers, assisting them in solving complex problems and improving their skills.
