Position Overview: The SAP Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of SAP projects and programs within an organization. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the effective implementation of SAP solutions to meet business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Develop and communicate a strategic vision for SAP programs aligned with the organization's business goals. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP program objectives. Program Leadership: Lead and manage SAP programs from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Provide direction and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors. Communicate program progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure the successful delivery of SAP programs. Work with HR and project managers to build and maintain a skilled and motivated SAP project team. Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks and issues related to SAP programs. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of SAP solutions by implementing best practices, standards, and methodologies. Conduct regular reviews and audits to assess program performance and identify areas for improvement. Budget and Cost Management: Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met. Monitor and control program costs, making adjustments as necessary to stay within budget constraints. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the SAP program management framework. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the SAP program team. Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure the successful integration of SAP solutions. Negotiate and manage vendor contracts and relationships. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date program documentation. Prepare and present regular status reports, project updates, and executive summaries. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Business, IT, Project Management, etc.). Extensive experience in SAP program management with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of SAP solutions and technologies. Project Management Professional (PMP) or SAP certifications are a plus.
