Position: Delivery Lead - Avaya to AWS Connect Migration
Location: Remote (Occasional Travel to Dallas/ Frisco/ Irving, TX If required)
Duration: Long term
Visa Independent

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to oversee and manage the migration of our communication infrastructure from Avaya to AWS Connect. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, AWS Connect, and Avaya technologies. The Delivery Lead will be responsible for coordinating and executing the migration plan, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to business operations.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop a comprehensive migration plan detailing tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Execute the migration plan efficiently, meeting project milestones and deadlines.
AWS Connect Expertise:
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of AWS Connect architecture and functionalities.
Collaborate with AWS technical teams to optimize the migration process.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS Connect configurations during the migration.
Avaya to AWS Connect Migration:
Lead the migration of communication infrastructure from Avaya to AWS Connect.
Coordinate with technical teams to ensure a seamless transition of phone systems and related services.
Manage data migration, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of customer information.
Stakeholder Communication:
Act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
Facilitate communication between technical teams, management, and end-users.
Address concerns and proactively manage expectations throughout the migration process.
Quality Assurance and Testing:
Implement thorough testing procedures to validate the functionality of AWS Connect configurations.
Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the migrated systems.
Ensure a high level of quality and reliability in the AWS Connect environment.
Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the migration process, configurations, and best practices.
Develop training materials for end-users and support teams.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Proactively address challenges to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
Post-Migration Support:
Provide post-migration support to address any issues or concerns arising after the migration.
Collaborate with support teams to ensure a smooth transition to ongoing operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Proven experience in project management, with a focus on technology migrations.
Strong understanding of AWS Connect and Avaya technologies.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting expertise.
AWS certifications and previous experience with Avaya to AWS Connect migrations are highly desirable
