Contract Role Job Description Have good working Experience on different cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP with strong exposure and experience in GCP. Understands the Cloud Assessment methodology & Cloud Migration Framework tools. Good assessment & analysis skills to be able to map the collected cloud attributes to the decision tree rules for cloud suitability, cloud migration patterns etc. Be able to define a target landing platform architecture & design. Be able to independently assess different cloud attributes and determine the relevant target state for migration. Very good knowledge of the cloud migration patterns like Re-host, Re-platform, Re-factor and be able to apply the relevant pattern based on client responses to cloud questionnaires. Explain & effectively communicate the target state, architecture & topology on GCP cloud to client stakeholders. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, GKE) Strong experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Github Actions, JFrog) Deep experience in at least one of these - infrastructure architecture, web application architecture, data architecture, integration architecture and excellent understanding in other cloud native solutions Good understanding of the networking aspects on cloud, defining network security groups, policies, configuring load balancers, application gateways Ability to learn/work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space. Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and achieve broader organizational goals. Ability to deliver results and work cross-functionally; engage/influence audiences and identify expansion engagements. Responsibilities This position will be responsible to consult with clients and propose architectural solutions to help move & improve infra from on-premises to cloud or help optimize cloud spend from one public cloud to the other. Be the first one to experiment on new age cloud offerings (specifically on GCP), help define the best practice as a thought leader for cloud, automation & Dev-Ops, be a solution visionary and technology expert across multiple channels. Continually augment skills and learn new tech as the technology and client needs evolve. Use the experience in multiple cloud platforms to drive the GCP cloud migration for customers. Provide leadership to project teams and facilitate the definition of project deliverables around core Cloud based technology and methods. Define tracking mechanisms and ensure IT standards and methodology are met; deliver quality results. Participate in technical reviews of requirements, designs, code/ scripts, and other artifacts. Identify and keep abreast of new technical concepts in GCP. Security, Risk and Compliance - Advise customers on best practices around access management, network setup, regulatory compliance, and related areas. Desired Candidate Profile: Min 5 + years of experience on GCP as a Cloud Architect and 10 years across GCP/AWS / Azure overall. A technical graduate (BCA/MCA/B.Tech/M.Tech) with 10 to 12 Years of IT experience At least 2 - 3 years of hands-on experience in Kubernetes and Anthos At least 4-5 years of experience in application Re-hosting, Re-platforming, and Re-factoring Strong in Scripting, such as Bash/PowerShell/Groovy Expertise in Design/operations and maintenance of public/private cloud infrastructure, migration of services from on-prem to cloud. Should be results-oriented with broad IT network security experience to meet the challenging business needs in a global environment. Solid understanding of cloud services offered by Azure/AWS/GCP, specifically the infrastructure, security, IAM and application orchestration services along with managed services for building SaaS/ PaaS applications. Cloud migration and cloud consulting experience required primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with MS Azure and AWS as secondary.
