They should come from a Software Developer background. In the DMV area is preferred, but EST or CST is okay. Tech stack: Java, Typescript, AWS with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Rest Assured/Gatling. We are seeking a highly motivated 100% Remote Senior SDET to support one of our client. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria: Requirements: 5+ years of SDET experience, with a strong understanding of software development in Java and Typescript. Hands-on experience with AWS, including proficiency in Load balancer, ECS, S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, SQS, and SNS Deep knowledge of Rest APIs and experience in back-end testing using tools like Rest Assured or Gatling. Proficiency in testing UI components using one or more of the following technologies: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Rest Assured. Desired Skills: AWS certification or a strong commitment to obtaining one in the near future. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar field. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement test strategies and test plans. Drive automation efforts for testing, continuously improving test coverage and efficiency. Contribute to the development of automated test scripts, frameworks, and tools. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Develop and maintain strong relationships with development and DevOps teams to foster a culture of quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating them into testing strategies when appropriate. Serve as a subject matter expert in test strategy and application architecture, providing insights to optimize testing processes.
