| Position: Scrum Master with NPV (Net Present Value) Location: Remote / Hybrid in San Jose, California Experience: 9+ years Client: IOPEX Technologies / Cisco Visa: Any Independent candidates Job Summary: As a Scrum Master with NPV, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the adoption and implementation of Agile methodologies, with a particular focus on Scrum practices. In addition to your Scrum Master responsibilities, you will bring a deep understanding of Net Present Value concepts to enhance project decision-making processes. Your primary goal is to empower the team to deliver high-quality products on time while optimizing the value delivered. Responsibilities: Scrum Master Responsibilities: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Guide and coach the Scrum Team on Agile principles and practices to maximize productivity and collaboration. Remove impediments and foster an environment conducive to continuous improvement. Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and manage the product backlog. Ensure the team's adherence to Scrum practices and values. Net Present Value (NPV) Integration: Utilize your expertise in NPV to contribute to project evaluation and decision-making processes. Collaborate with stakeholders to assess the financial viability of projects and initiatives. Work closely with finance and project management teams to integrate NPV calculations into the project planning and prioritization process. Provide insights and recommendations based on NPV analysis to enhance project portfolio management. Collaboration and Communication: Foster a culture of collaboration and transparency within the organization. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment on project goals and priorities. Bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders by translating complex concepts into understandable terms. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices. Actively seek feedback from team members and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in [relevant field]. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification. Strong understanding of Net Present Value (NPV) concepts.
