| IAM Consultant Location: Herndon, VA Hybrid ( Must be local, within commuting distance to Herndon) Duration: 6 month Contract Visa: USC Only Interview: 2 interviews, 1st one remote (technical), 2nd probably onsite with hiring Must have Okta Experience Required skills: 7 years+ of experience in software engineering with a focus on authentication and authorization. Proven expertise in Okta, with a deep understanding of capabilities and configuration. Strong knowledge of authentication/authorization protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OIDC. Experience in designing and implementing secure identity and access management solutions for large-scale applications. Understanding of and experience in MFA. Knowledge of PIV (Personal Identity Verification) cards and their use in authentication/authorization is an added plus. Ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex authentication/authorization issues. Familiarity with security best practices and a commitment to maintaining a secure development environment.
