Title - Solutions Architect Location - Dayton, OHIO, ONSITE ROLE , LOCAL ONLY Duration 6months Visa USC/GC Solutions Architect (25% Developer, 75% Architect - Needs to have strong fundamental knowledge of core Java frameworks and the Spring ecosystem) Requirements Bachelors Degree in computer science (or equivalent experience) with 8 or more years of relevant experience Practical knowledge of modern service-oriented architecture, API design, and enterprise integration patterns Strong analysis and critical thinking skills Creative at problem solving and overcoming technical challenges Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision Demonstrates consistent punctuality along with good time management and task prioritization skills Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment across all levels in the Organization Must keep up-to-date on relevant technology trends Well versed in web, Java, and Spring Framework ecosystems Physical Demands The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations: Sitting for extended periods of time Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and other computer components Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals Occasional travel to interact with local companies, regional offices and/or support implementation of solutions Position Summary The solutions architect is an information technology professional who designs, develops and implements software systems. This position participates in developing the overall technical strategy for internal applications and related 3rd party integration solutions. Accountabilities/Responsibilities Partner with business executives and end-users to conceptualize new application project. Translates business requirements into technical requirements for the project, recommends technical resources and task assignments. Owns technical decisions, production of architectural artifacts, and technical designs for assigned projects.
