Must-haves - 5+ of professional software development experience - 5+ years of backend java development experience - Strong knowledge of REST Technologies, preferably with strong Spring Boot experience - Proficient database experience - Recent experience working with data structures and object oriented programming - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Plusses - Front end development experience - Mongo DB experience - Master's degree in computer science Day-to-Day Java Developer to join one of our largest financial service clients in Dallas, Texas. This individual will be joining the Loans Engineering division within their Core Engineering department in an effort to help build out, enhance and upgrade applications within the firms core payments platform. They will be responsible for interacting with the business daily, working hands on with the technical requirements, and owning a piece of the project. The ideal candidate will have extensive java development experience, ability to work with data structures and object oriented programming, and have strong database experience. The team works with Mongo DB, but any strong database experience is sufficient as long as the candidate is willing to learn how to work with Mongo. This candidate must come from a technology background, preferably with a degree in computer science. The team recently started going back into the office, so this candidate must be local to Dallas or be willing to relocate to onsite 3x a week. |
