Also, development on 19c . Responsibilities / Skills: Oracle 10g work related experience. Proven work in data warehousing environments. Proficient in creating complex SQL for reports. Work experience with advanced PL/SQL objects such as pipelined functions, arrays, etc. Proficiency in database architecture/data modeling. Intermediate knowledge of SQL LEVEL performance tuning using hints and Database Level performance tuning. . Experience creating SQL Loader scripts to import large amounts of data. Knowledge of Healthcare data warehousing architecture. Additional Responsibilities: Improve overall performance on database, queries, procedures, and workflow. Design, develop, and implement ways to improve overall performance of the system. Implement architectural changes to improve performance. Oversee and perform SQL tuning and database tuning. Stay abreast and maintain technical expertise. As new and improved technologies become available, explore with bureau leadership whether existing applications should be migrated. Lead and participate in planning for migration. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field and four years of experience in Information Management Systems; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and six years of such experience; OR eight years of such experience. A Master's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field may substitute for one year of such experience. A Doctorate in a Computer Science or a closely related field may substitute for three years of such experience. This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location. Telecommuting may not be available.
