| From: Sam, Vyze Inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - Job Title: Oracle Spatial & Graph Admin Location: Remote Contract Length: 6 months We are seeking a skilled Oracle Spatial and Graph Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure our geospatial and graph data within Oracle databases. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the availability, conversion, Query performance, integrity, and security of our spatial and graph data infrastructure, empowering critical GIS applications, network analysis, and decision-making processes across the organization. Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Spatial and Graph database instances. Implement and maintain spatial database security policies and procedures. Perform regular backups and recovery of spatial databases. Optimize spatial database performance through tuning, indexing, and partitioning. Troubleshoot spatial database issues and provide technical support. Monitor spatial database performance and resource utilization. Convert relational data stores into Spatial and Graph DB. Develop and implement spatial database maintenance and disaster recovery plans. Collaborate with GIS analysts and application developers to support spatial data needs. Manage graph data loading, cleaning, and validation processes. Optimize graph query performance through indexing and query optimization techniques. Develop and maintain graph data models and schemas. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, GIS, or a related field. 3+ years of experience working with Oracle Spatial and Graph specifically. Strong understanding of graph data modeling and query techniques. Expert-level proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Graph DBMS Packages and Oracle database administration tools. Experience with spatial data loading, manipulation, and analysis techniques. Experience with graph data loading, manipulation, and analysis techniques. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Oracle Autonomous Database or Oracle on-premise Infrastructure. Experience with spatial data visualization tools (e.g., Oracle Spatial Studio, Oracle Spatial Network Data Model) Experience with graph visualization tools (e.g., Oracle Graph Visualization).
