Job Description: Job Title: Scum Master Location : Remote - Candidate should be comfortable with MST time zone. Job Summary The Scrum Master is responsible for ensuring the team is delivering on their commitments. This role works lock step with the our Product Management Team by diligently following the scrum framework to ensure the Product Owner has prepared backlogs that are prioritized and groomed, the team has estimated the sprint ahead, the active sprint has strong support on any impediments, and the team is able to rely on the scrum framework to guide the cadence of the product model. The Scrum Master is constantly seeking for ways to improve the team to get faster, tighter, stronger and better. A continuous improvement culture will be facilitated by this role. The Scrum Master understands the value of the development teams time and protects them from unplanned work and distraction. As Scrum Master your job is to continuously flag and communicate impediments for your team by working with the Product Owner, and fellow scrum masters, while communicating a clear and concise analysis of the product teams progress and velocity. The Scrum Master knows how to manage the teams time and offer recommendations to the Product Owner to improve the quality of incoming user stories, monitor workloads, note complexities and integrations, and look ahead to strategize release planning. The Scrum Master works directly with the product owners, product designers, lead engineers, group architects, quality assurance analysts, vendors, and analysts; plus, the Scrum Master works with fellow scrum masters, project managers and cross-functional partners to integrate, plan the work and communicate on status. Must have skills 10 years of overall experience, with at least 4+ of those years in a Scrum Master role Experience working in an agile development including tools like JIRA, Confluence and others Strong communication skills, team management and ability to build relationships across cross-functional teams Proven experience with technical implementations, especially those involving Data integration 2 or more years of experience managing remote teams Demonstrated experience of instilling a continuous improvement culture Nice have skills Exposure to programs or projects involving SQL, Snowflake, relational databases, and data migration is a major plus, and candidates with this experience will be prioritized.
