| From: Lokesh Shiv, Paramount Software Solutions [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Network Admin Location: Nashville,Tennessee (Remote) Duration: 12 Months Job Description: Trafficking Investigators will support the Department of Human Services (DHS) Office of Inspector General (OIG) Special Investigations Unit (Unit) in supporting SLEB partners. SLEB partners are State and Local law enforcement agencies engaged in investigations of the USDA Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) formerly known as Food Stamps. The Trafficking Investigator will be tasked with supporting field investigations of fraudulent human services cases including the Supplemental Nutritional Assistant Program or SNAP (food assistance) and working to establish and maintain relationships with the State Law Enforcement Bureau (SLEB) in the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) of the Program Integrity Division. The Trafficking Investigator will conduct investigations with State and Federal law enforcement agencies including but not limited to operating surveillance equipment (i.e. video, tape recorder, etc.), conducting surveillance to obtain evidence, comparing agency databases with other agencies' databases to identify potential fraudulent Human Services cases, conducting interviews with potential parties of interest, etc. The Trafficking Investigator will act as a liaison for the Program Integrity Division to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners, clients, Family Assistance Staff, Administrative Hearing Officials, Law Enforcement partners, and District Attorneys and provide an understanding of the Department of Human Services (DHS) policies and procedures as appropriate. The Trafficking Investigator will be responsible for communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates and submitting investigative summaries to the Human Services District Director of Investigations for approval via telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person. The Trafficking Investigator will also testify at Grand jury and court proceedings to assist in the adjudication of suspected fraud cases as appropriate.
