The ideal candidate will be a Certified Senior Systems Architect (CSSA) with a minimum certification, and preferably a Lead System Architect (LSA). The candidate must have expertise in Pega version 7.x or higher, or possess relevant recent experience if certification predates this version. Key Qualifications: Pega Certification: Certified Pega engineer with a minimum of CSSA (Certified Senior Systems Architect) certification. LSA (Lead System Architect) certification is preferred. Domain Expertise: Strong background in financial services, specifically in business workflows involving money movement. Relevant experience in insurance workflows will also be considered. Pega Frameworks: Experience with Pega Smart Investigate (not Smart Dispute) framework is strongly desired. Pega Testing Tools: Hands-on practical experience with the Pega Automated Unit Test framework and the Pega Peer Review Component is strongly desired. Development Skills: Java engineer with hands-on development experience, familiar with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Exposure across design, build, unit test (not manual testing), and automation testing leveraging frameworks such as Selenium Web Driver. Database Expertise: Proficient in Oracle PLSQL. CI/CD Experience: Experience with Enterprise Pipeline (EPL) using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, uDeploy, and supporting tools. Agile Methodology: Experience working in a high-performing Scrum team, following Agile principles. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement Pega applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement solutions using Pega technology. Utilize Pega frameworks, particularly Smart Investigate, to enhance and optimize business workflows. Implement and maintain automated unit tests and participate in peer reviews using Pega testing tools. Work closely with Java technologies, contributing to full SDLC processes and ensuring code quality. Leverage Oracle PLSQL for database-related tasks. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and uDeploy. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to a high-performing Scrum team environment.
