Job Title Principal C++ Programmer Project Location Remote Duration 12 Month+ Contract Phone Interview Followed By Skype So basically embedded programming for C++ in a linux based environment. This team programs applications that communicate to the devices from the network. This application is going to communicate to multiple points and allows them to communicate to any mobile device connected to that network. I dont want any embedded engineers from a manufacturing background or robotics, as they wont understand how to code these applications unless theyve done it before. This person will not be doing any requirements gathering, they will receive the requirements, then go develop/code, do enhancements, root/cause, break fix, and create all documentation for said development/analysis, etc. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of experience as a C++ software engineer or systems engineer 3+ years of experience using C++ in embedded and resource-constrained environments 3+ years of experience using Linux as a software development environment 3+ years of experience writing technical documentation based on C++ code 2+ years of experience using Python to automate builds 2+ years of experience of creating and deploying Docker containers 2+ years of experience using Git to manage source code Proven project experience in the following areas building tooling to test what developed code online code review tools (Gerrit or GitLab preferred) working with bash, or similar scripting language writing technical documentation for consumption by other developer Desired Qualifications: Previous experience with WebAssembly Familiarity with macOS Experience writing Jenkins jobs/pipelines Previous experience with Doxygen and Sphinx a real plus Education: Preferred Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math.
