Duties include managing, upgrading, monitoring network switches, routers, and firewalls as well as management of the Cisco Call Manager, UCCX, and Unity environments. Applicants will be proficient in enterprise network design and IP telephony structure, including routing and switching concepts, SIP trunking, and Windows Server administration. Applicants will work under the direction of the Network Operations Supervisor and Network Engineer to identify business needs and ensure reliability of ----- infrastructure systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Management of Cisco Call Manager, including new user setup, routing/translation rule management, and troubleshooting. Management of Cisco Unified Contact Center Express, including agent queue configuration, outbound campaigns, and IVR applications. Management of IP faxing solution, including new user setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Maintenance of on-prem network switching and routing hardware. Configuration and maintenance of remote site routers. Identify and implement additional monitoring for the network and telecom systems to provide proactive failure notification and trouble visibility. Act as a Tier III point of escalation for helpdesk on network and telecom issues. Attend project meetings as assigned and engage other team members as needed. Education & Experience: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution and four (4) years of progressive experience in a mid-level technical capacity for a medium to large organization with a structured IT department; OR Ten (10) years of progressive experience in a mid-level or senior technical capacity for a medium to large organization with a structured IT department. Preferred Experience: Cisco CCNA Voice or CCNP Voice certifications. Cisco CCNA or Juniper JNCIA certifications. Previous experience with Cisco Call Manager Previous experience with a Cisco or Juniper campus switching environment Knowledge of: Cisco Unified Communications Manager or similar VoIP telephony system Cisco Unified Contact Center Express or similar agent queuing and IVR platform SIP/PSTN call routing and carrier integration Cisco or Juniper campus switching design Keywords: information technology California |
