Job Description: 

As the Technical Lead for the Order Management System, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the technical aspects of the OMS lifecycle, with a focus on system design, integration, and scalability. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring a resilient and high-performance OMS to meet evolving business needs: 

Lead the technical design and development of the Order Management System.

Define and oversee the development of system components, modules, and interfaces.

Ensure alignment of the technical architecture with business objectives and scalability requirements.

Collaborate with internal teams to identify and manage integration points with other systems, such as ERP, CRM, and e-commerce platforms.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners and business stakeholders.

Design and implement data flow and integration strategies to facilitate real-time information exchange.

Guide the selection of appropriate technologies and frameworks to build a scalable and efficient OMS.

Implement solutions to optimize system performance, reliability, and responsiveness.

Oversee the implementation of security measures and best practices to safeguard customer data and transactions.

Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system diagrams and design specifications.

 In this role, you will be a key influencer in shaping the technical direction of the OMS, ensuring its alignment with business goals and the seamless integration with other critical systems.

 Mandatory Qualifications

8+ years of overall IT Experience

More than five years of experience in implementing Order Management systems.

Experience in customizing and implementing Order Management system to support Inventory as Service, Promise Date, third-party Logistic, Ship from Store, BOPIS, and Same day Delivery functionalities.

Should have knowledge of Composable commerce.

Proficiency in programming languages and technologies relevant to OMS development (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, RESTful APIs).

Experience with database design and management (SQL, NoSQL).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Should be a problem solver rather than waiting for a solution to the problem.

Should co-ordinate with multi-geographical teams in ensuring a successful delivery of the Order Management System
