Position: Data Analyst Location: Remote Duration: 6+ months Mode of intervieew: Phone and Video Job Description: We are seeking several talented Healthcare Data Analysts to join our team. The ideal candidates should possess specific expertise and experience crucial for effective analysis within our projects. Key Requirements Healthcare Experience: A robust understanding of the healthcare industry's data landscape, regulations, and specific requirements is essential. Candidates should have experience working within healthcare settings or projects and working knowledge of data structure in core claims systems such as Facets, QNXT, Health Edge etc. Claims, Member & Provider Domain Expertise from Payer Perspective and/or Clinical Domain Expertise (Provider Perspective): Candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of either claims, member, and provider domains from a payer perspective or clinical domain expertise from a provider standpoint. Prior experience in analysing data within these domains is a must have requirement. Working experience with commonly used data formats in healthcare such as HL7, Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR), Continuity of Care Document (CCD) etc. Working experience with commonly used codes in healthcare such as International Classification of Diseases (ICD), Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), and Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC) etc. Nice-to-Have Skills: Snowflake Background: Familiarity or experience with Snowflake, particularly in an analytical context, is advantageous. Candidates with proficiency in utilizing Snowflake for data analysis will be considered favourably. Data Warehouse/Data Vault 2.0 Experience: Additional experience or exposure to data warehouse or Data Vault 2.0 concepts is beneficial. Candidates with knowledge of these frameworks will be given extra consideration. Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into meaningful insights. Analyse healthcare data, focusing on claims, member, provider, or clinical information from the designated perspective. Extract, transform, and analyse data to derive actionable insights contributing to business objectives. Utilize analytical tools and techniques to interpret complex datasets and present findings clearly and understandably. Ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy throughout the analysis process. Contribute to creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively. Qualifications: Bachelor's or masters in data science, Statistics, Healthcare Informatics, or related field. Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in data analysis within the healthcare industry. Expertise in claims, member, and provider domains from a payer perspective and/or clinical domain knowledge from a provider standpoint. Familiarity with Snowflake (preferred) or similar analytical platforms. Understanding of data warehouse or Data Vault 2.0 concepts is advantageous.
