| Must Have Local Consultant Louisville, KY Client: Norton Healthcare Schedule: 3 - 4 days a week onsite in Louisville, KY Duration: Contract through 12/21/2024, with possible extension Location: Louisville, KY Accepted visas: No H1B The Network Engineers primary work has been in the data center for our Cisco ACI network, Nexus Dashboard, and configuring switches in ACI. He has also been counted on to create Visio diagrams, work with our NOC for cabling requirements, installing new switches, and dealing with our structured cabling requirements. Using his resume as a sample for our next resource would be recommended. Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve enterprise network issues Perform basic enterprise network project design, setup, build and documentation of new technology deployments Primary work is in the data center arena for Cisco ACI network, Nexus Dashboard, and configuring switches in ACI Create Visio diagrams Work with the NOC for cabling requirements Install new switches Deal with structured cabling requirements Qualifications: 5 years of related network engineering experience Cisco edge routing/switching knowledge & experience (CCNA/NP level experience, certification preferred, but not required) Be capable of using network monitoring tools (Nagios/OpManager/SolarWinds/Cisco Prime/Aruba Airwave) to provide network monitoring and troubleshooting for appropriate network performance. Cisco data center knowledge and experience for products like Nexus 9K/ACI, 6500 core switches This position requires this Engineer to respond to client calls, understand current needs/situations, exhibit patience, and work to issue resolution Other technology areas like server & storage (EMC/VMWare) useful when working cross teams.
