Role: Python Developer with Data Science Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: Long Term Contract Responsibilities: 10 years Understand and analyze business requirements. Design and develop models for Natural Language Processing and python modules. Data mining or extracting usable data from valuable data sources. Using machine learning tools to select features, create and optimize classifiers. Carrying out preprocessing of structured and unstructured data. Enhancing data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analyt-ic systems. Processing, cleansing, and validating the integrity of data to be used for analysis. Analyzing large amounts of information to find patterns and solutions. Developing prediction systems and machine learning algorithms. Presenting results in clear manner. Propose solutions and strategies to tackle business challenges. Design and develop independent python modules. Write unit tests and integration tests. Write performant, testable, and readable code. Develop RESTFUL API endpoints following micro-services design pattern. Develop web applications for end users and integrate with backend services. Setup and manage test environments. Prepare production roll out plan. Effective communication with SMEs and end users. Competencies: Digital : Natural Language Processing (NLP), Digital : Mongo DB, Digital : Kafka, Digital : Python for Data Science Experience (Years): 4-6 Essential Skills: Strong development experience with Python, Mongo DB and, Kafka Proven experience as Data Scientist Good knowledge of machine learning methods like k-Nearest Neighbors, Nave Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing. Strong Math Skills understanding of fundamentals of Multivariable Calculus and Linear Alge-bra, predictive performance.
