Job Title : Backend Developer Location : Plano, TX Duration : 12 months with possible extension(s) Hybrid Role Backend Developer in Plano, TX -- 10= Years needed We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in Node.js, Java, and AWS to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable backend systems that support our applications. The candidate should have a strong background in server-side development, microservices architecture, and cloud computing. Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable and robust backend solutions using Node.js and Java. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Develop and maintain APIs to support front-end applications and external integrations. Implement and maintain data storage solutions, ensuring high performance and reliability. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Collaborate with DevOps engineers to deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure. Ensure code quality, testing, and adherence to development best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner. Requirements: Proven experience as a Backend Developer with expertise in Node.js and Java. Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, etc. Familiarity with IaaS Cloudformation and/or Terraform Solid understanding of server-side development, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous programming. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases. Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Adaptability to learn and work with new technologies. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Should be able to work in a hybrid work model and be able to come to Plano office 1-3 days a week Regards!
