Location: St. Cambridge MA 02139, 100% onsite in Cambridge - Candidates must be local to MA/NH or RI Duration: 1 Year Important Skills Technical Skills python, Django or flash, AWS, bioinformatic/chemoinformatic databases. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, bioinformatics, or closely related field. 5+ years of relevant experience. Experience with relational databases (Postgres, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.) and strong SQL skills. Advanced skills in Python, with knowledge and understanding of Python libraries and frameworks such as Django or Flask. Proficiency in front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and libraries like React and/or AngularJS. Experience with modern bioinformatic and cheminformatic databases, schemas and ontologies. Experience with AWS infrastructure (S3, Glue, Lambda/Step Functions, Batch). Working knowledge of at least one BI software tool. Demonstrable experience with multiple high level programming languages. Key Responsibilities : Architect and develop engineering solutions to handle data from laboratory equipment, computation models. Work closely with an entrepreneurial, highly-collaborative, interdisciplinary team and actively contribute to creating, shaping, and executing the scientific vision of the company. Data modeling, systems architecture, API development, data visualization and analysis tools.
