Design, code, test, and implement software solutions for the Computer Assisted Collection System, with a focus on mainframe environments and COBOL programming. Maintain and enhance existing CACS applications on the mainframe, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Conduct thorough testing of software components, identify and address defects, and ensure high-quality deliverables. Work closely with system architects and other developers to ensure seamless integration of CACS components within the mainframe environment. Provide technical support and assistance to end-users and internal teams as needed. Document software development processes, code, and system architecture to facilitate knowledge transfer and future enhancements. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a software developer with a focus on CACS systems in a mainframe environment. Strong proficiency in COBOL programming language. Experience with mainframe technologies and tools, including JCL (Job Control Language) and VSAM (Virtual Storage Access Method). Knowledge of database management systems, SQL, and data modeling in a mainframe context. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
