Job Description:-

 We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Sr Java Developer with expertise in the Capital Markets and Derivatives domain
to join our team. As a Java Developer, you will play a crucial role in
designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance trading applications
and systems for our capital markets business.

Responsibilities:

         
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including traders, quants, and other
developers, to gather requirements and design efficient and scalable solutions.

         
Develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based applications and systems for trading,
risk management, and pricing of derivatives products.

         
Implement low-latency, high-throughput trading systems that integrate with
market data feeds, exchanges, and clearing systems.

         
Optimize code and system performance to ensure fast and reliable execution of
trades and calculations.

         
Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of software components
to identify and resolve issues promptly.

         
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in capital markets and
derivative trading technologies, and propose innovative solutions to improve
trading systems.

         
Collaborate with team members to review code, provide technical guidance, and
ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

         
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements,
translate them into technical specifications, and deliver high-quality
solutions.

         
Document software designs, procedures, and configurations for future reference
and knowledge sharing.

         
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements
analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and post-release support.

Requirements:

         
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related
field.

         
Strong proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented design
principles.

         
Extensive experience (10+ years) in developing Java-based applications for the
capital markets industry, with a focus on derivatives products.

         
In-depth knowledge of derivative instruments, including options, futures,
swaps, and other complex financial instruments.

         
Familiarity with trading systems, algorithmic trading, market data feeds, and
execution platforms.

         
Proficiency in multi-threading, concurrency, and performance tuning for
low-latency systems.

         
Solid understanding of financial concepts, risk management, and trading
strategies.

         
Experience with relevant frameworks and technologies such as Spring, Hibernate,
messaging systems (e.g., JMS, Kafka), and database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL
Server).

         
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp
complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

         
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively
with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred:

         
Experience with front-office trading systems and related technologies, such as
FIX protocol and electronic trading platforms.

         
Knowledge of market regulations, compliance, and reporting requirements in the
capital markets industry.

         
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.

         
Previous experience in working with global teams and stakeholders in different
time zones
