Position Name: VMware Administrator Job ID:- HBITS-05-13235 Location Albany, New York (day 1 onsite) Duration: 12 Months 60 months of experience administering VMware vSphere environment and ESXi hosts including upgrade/patching of virtualization software, building/patching hosts, deploying virtual machines, monitoring, problem diagnosis & resolution, and utilization of virtualization tools including vCenter and vRealize. 60 months of experience administering Microsoft Windows Server Operating System, preferrebly version 2012r2 and higher, including installation, configuration, patching via WSUS, troubleshooting/problem resolution, etc., as well as utilization of system and event management tools to monitor performance and security related matters. 60 months experience administering Microsoft Active Directory and related resources, including Domain Controllers, Active Directory Federated Services, Group Policy, Certificates, etc., combined with experience utilizing PowerShell scripts to query and configure AD attributes. 36 months experience administering, monitoring and maintaining anti-malware software for virtual machines/environment. 36 months experience with Technical Writing to ensure processes, procedures, system designs, etc., are documented for the support of software/hardware and can be used for knowledge transfer for current and future staff.
