| From: Anu Bandi, w3global Inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] HI Job Title: VMware NSX-T Engineer Location: 100% remote ( Preferred location - Columbus, OH ) Duration: 12+ months contract Expectations: VMware NSX Engineer to support NSX-T production environment and work on migration of Legacy Vmware Esxi and NSX-V Environment Applications to NSX-T License/Certification: vSphere Certification: VCP-DCV (required) NSX-T Certification: VCP-NV (required) Skills & Work Experience: Developing, maintaining, and supporting networks in NSX/NSX-T, Experienced in NSX-T, NSX-V Implementation and Migration Networking Experience in Advanced NSX-T Edge Node Route / Switch configuration BGP, OSPF and Static Routing , Switching and routing technologies (L2-L3) Network and application delivery services (L4-L7) Monitoring the automation of network deployment and configuration, along with the integration of infrastructure (computer/storage) automation Supporting Build and Operational functions in Continuous Integration/Deployment, Provisioning, Orchestration, Configuration Management and Monitoring Effectively handle issues and escalations, as well as resolve production problems, reporting to management on status and technical matters Planning and execution of regular maintenance activities to continuously increase efficiency and scalability and improve speed of deployment Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) , Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) post restoration of service Review requirement documents, define hardware requirements and update processes and procedures as necessary 2-3 Years of Hands-on Experience Design, Implement , Support, maintain NSX-T 3 version private cloud env , strong knowledge and hands on experience in Software Defined Network with Overlay and underlay design concepts and Distributed vSwitch , Firewall Rules and Security Policies 2-3 years experience integration, Daily Support using vRealize Suite of Products such as Operations, Automation Network Insight , Site Recovery Manager 2-3 years of Automation Experience automating Operational and Routine Activities using Python, Powershell (CLI), Terraform for provision and Decom of VMs, DataStores, Deploy ESxi, software and hardware patching, Upgrades etc Keywords: Nevada Ohio |
