Technical Implementation - Develop and implement Shopify-based websites, themes, and applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid (Shopify's template language), and other relevant technologies. Customization - Customize and extend Shopify functionalities using apps, APIs, and custom code to create unique and tailored shopping experiences. Performance Optimization - Optimize website performance, including page load speed, responsiveness, and user experience, by implementing best practices and performance optimization techniques. Integration - Integrate third-party services, plugins, and APIs to enhance the functionality of the Shopify store, such as payment gateways, shipping solutions, analytics, and marketing tools. Quality Assurance- Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions to ensure functionality, compatibility, and responsiveness across different devices and browsers. Security and Compliance - Implement security best practices to safeguard customer data and ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations (such as GDPR, PCI DSS). Troubleshooting- Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and errors that may arise during development or post-launch. Documentation- Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, coding standards, and project documentation. Stay Current - Keep up to date with the latest trends, tools, and updates in the Shopify ecosystem and e-commerce industry. Requirements: Proven experience designing and developing e-commerce websites on the Shopify and Shopify Plus platforms. In-depth knowledge of the Shopify platform and its capabilities and features. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid JS templating language along with Shopify design elements (themes, templates, components, Java script,HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap) Experience with Developing full stack solutions, Shopify's APIs, app development, and integration of third-party services. Expertise in REST-based implementations with shopify plus platform. Strong understanding of responsive web design and mobile optimization. Familiarity with performance optimization techniques and SEO best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients. Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards in e-commerce. Able to work in Agile & DevOps environments, review code of peers and mentor/train team. Proficient in communicating and driving technology solutions that support business objectives. Strong troubleshooting & debugging skills on various issues. Preferred Requirements: Shopify certification or relevant certifications in web development and e-commerce. Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) for more complex customizations. Familiarity with UX/UI design principles to enhance user experience.
