Architect I performs architecture planning in This role is specifically designed to support the FHFA Credit Directive. The effort will entail analysis and architecture work to enable updating systems across the Enterprise to accommodate new data elements and business rules. Additionally, the candidates will need to assess how the effort intersects with in-progress future state work for current assets and develop an end-to-end roadmap. As a valued contributor to our team, you will consult with management on the development of processes and procedures for designing and implementing components of technological structures. In this role, you will create solutions with a process-driven view, as well as maintain and/or update existing structures. Determine the needs of diverse and complex customer groups by applying understanding and resolution of complex or unusual business problems. Translate functional requirements into technical solutions, and engage matrixed teams. Oversee existing structures, as well as the implementation and ongoing monitoring of governance. Perform modeling, analysis, and planning to solve technical business problems and identify opportunities and risks. Skills (Below Skills will be mentioned in the Skill Matrix form, so all the points are very important): Develop target state architectures, including compliance for cloud inventory influence delivery toward target state with the business and firm-wide technology products. Promote deeper understanding of the executing production architecture to address and optimize patterns, anti-patterns and areas requiring agility for more rapid innovation. Strategic thought leadership to advance product architecture tooling and operation models related to application portfolio modernization and tech debt that is visible and actioned. Ensure standards, principles and tech stack are refreshed and guide application modernization. Manage Single Family Domain Architecture agenda, including transparent technology strategy and strategic architecture direction that guide engineers. Maintain active list of strategies and position papers required for emerging opportunities and/or challenges, to establish common understanding and clear direction. Design architecture patterns. Experience Leading strategy and roadmap of capabilities from architecture perspective. Coach and mentor other Architects within the organization. Collaborate with other Architects on application architecture, data architecture, deployment architectures, functional design specifications; assist with other project deliverables as needed. Expertise in Database and Management technologies including both relational and NoSQL DBs. Expertise in AWS Data Migration Service and Test Data management frameworks including encryption, masking, data and database migration Experience with cloud migration, microservices architecture Skilled in Amazon Web Services (AWS) offerings, development, and networking platforms Experience using JIRA and Confluence.
