Also, a more accurate title for this role would be Test Analyst and Release Engineer, as it has a great deal of testing involved in it. Job Description : To adequately support and meet increased customer and business needs, one IT consultant is required who specializes in analyzing functional/non-functional business requirements, identifying and documenting testable requirements, and developing test plans, test cases/scripts and test summary reports for manual, integration, regression and database testing. The IT consultant must have knowledge of server administration, including IIS management, and the ability to perform a manual and automated deployment to web, database and report servers, create an implementation plan, and coordinate all types of software releases. In addition, the IT consultant must have the ability to create and maintain build and release automation definitions, possess knowledge of visual studio, the ability to understand source code, and train and mentor release engineers/testers. Required Qualifications : Performing manual and automated deployment to Web, Database and Report servers using tools like Team Foundation Server (TFS), Visual Studio, PowerShell Scripting etc. Creating Implementation Plan and coordinate all types of software releases. Performing research, analysis, and testing on applications to ensure they are in aligned with functional/non-functional business requirements. Working closely with development teams during application development lifecycle Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) process for Release Management. Performing functional testing on applications and websites using testing tools such as Azure Test Plans, etc. Documenting test results and defects using tools like Azure DevOps Providing mentoring and training to staff in the areas of application analysis, test case development, test execution, troubleshooting, and test documentation. Years of experience with Electronic Health Care Records Systems.
